How many next steps does our life consist of? How many transitional phases have you gone through and will you go through?

Between these steps and transitions, how many times have you asked yourself if you are ready to make the change, to move forward, to dare? How many times have you wondered if you will succeed, if it is the right decision, if it will turn out well, if it is worth it?

But I will ask you: why not? Why not wonder the opposite? Why should I not be ready to step forward, to dare? Why can't I succeed? Why wouldn't it be the right decision? Why shouldn't it turn out well? Why wouldn't it be worth it?

Man's propensity to head straight for negativity and destruction is a fact and something that many find it difficult to escape.

Have you ever wondered why?

Our mind has a tendency to work in such a way as to protect us from anything it perceives as a "threat". However, he is not always able to perceive whether it is a realistic threat or not. What does this mean; We are getting ready to get out of a situation that we are used to and therefore to get out of our safety sphere or commonly the comfort zone and make a change, shake up the waters a bit and dare something different.

When this happens, our brain starts to secrete various hormones. One of them is adrenaline, which gives us a sense of alertness and motivates us to open our antennae to process what is causing us anxiety. Thus, the brain is called upon to bring balance to the levels of this hormone and to protect us from agitation (certainly many other hormones are involved and many and complicated processes take place, but to understand the basic function of action let's stick to adrenaline) and it will do the hard enough to return to the previous level of rest.

How is this going to be done; Keeping us away from what secretes the hormone.

That is, from challenges, strengthening the characteristic of procrastination in order to ensure calmness.

But when something doesn't suit us and we feel the need to change it, but we are afraid and we constantly go around the change without ever implementing it, then we manage to calm down temporarily until this need wakes up again and reminds us what we want to do and we need

That's where courage is needed!

Faced with the mind's need to protect us, to come forward ourselves, since we ourselves really want change and have the need for the next step, the need to be satisfied that we have progressed.

As it has been proven, man's ingenuity to survive (always ethically) in difficult and unpredictable situations is undeniable. So, even if it doesn't work out, and even if it wasn't worth it and if and if and even if, there will be a way to take another next step that will be worth it and you'll know better what to avoid next time !

It can be difficult, but we don't evolve through difficulties????

Anyway, do you know when you'll be ready? Will you ever know? Will you ever feel this way?

It is beneficial to ask both sides of the coin, don't you think?

Thank you for your time,

Michaela
